Cindy Ybarra
Cindy
Ybarra is the founder of RiverStone. She is
a native Texan and registered nurse with many years of experience
as a manager in health care settings. She is an Episcopalian
with long-standing interests in ecumenism and peace and social
justice issues. An "instinctive contemplative," she
practices contemplative prayer as taught by Father Thomas Keating. In 2002,
she served as a working intern at the Center
for Action and Contemplation in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she managed Tepeyac, the Center's guesthouse.
She is currently a director of Riverstone.
Ann Hagmann
Rev. Hagmann is an ordained United Methodist
minister who pastored churches in Oklahoma for a decade before
moving to the Austin area in 1999. She received her Master
of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Perkins School
of Theology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Since
moving to Austin she has served as a chaplain with Hospice
Austin. She is blessed to be a popular speaker, teacher, and
retreat leader. Her passions are practical spirituality and
wholeness, along with compassion and social justice. A lover
of nature and an active ecumenist, Ann is involved in wholeness
services in her community. She is the author of Climbing the
Sycamore Tree-A Study in Choice and Simplicity, and Abiding
Hope-Encouragement in the Shadow of Death. She is currently
a director of RiverStone.
Daphne Levey
Ms. Levey graduated from law school in
the early 1980’s and spent 15 years practicing law in
Houston. She felt a spiritual awakening when she and her family
moved to Austin, leading her to attend The Episcopal Theology
Seminary of the Southwest where she recently completed a Master’s
in Pastoral Ministry. She is now practicing as a spiritual
director and retreat workshop leader, as well as participating
at St. Hildegard’s, a feminist, liturgical Christian
community in Austin. She is currently a director of RiverStone.
Sharon Lowe
Sharon Lowe has a Master’s in Pastoral
Ministry/Discipleship. Previously she worked as an attorney
in the areas of labor, education, civil rights, alternative
dispute resolution and governance. She is active in community,
faith-based, and arts-related non-profit organizations. She
is currently a member of RiverStone.
Carol Warkoczewski
Carol Warkoczewski is a registered architect
and facilitates partnering, team building, and project issue
resolution workshops. She is a council member of Wisdom At
Work and is pursuing a Master of Science in Organizational
Leadership and Ethics at St. Edward’s University in
Austin. She is currently working on other projects.
